Twinkle in Time
Baker City Downtown presents Twinkle in Time, a weekend-long suite of events and activities to launch the beginning of the holiday season! Twinkle in Time includes BCD’s 6th annual Cookie Crawl and three days of Festival of Trees events. BCD took stewardship of the event in 2023 with the blessing of the Saint Alphonsus Foundation (the former event host).
Twinkle also includes the Twilight Parade and Tree Lighting in Court Street Plaza, organized by the Baker County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau; Make-and-Take holiday activities, organized by Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, Inc; Pictures with Santa & Letters to Santa, organized by the Baker City Kiwanis; as well as the 4-H Holiday Bazaar, organized by OSU Extension Baker Co. 4-H Oregon.
Baker City Downtown is pleased to serve Baker by preserving and enhancing the vitality and character of our community through Festival of Trees. Under BCD’s stewardship, Festival of Trees is restored and reinvigorated to its full, multi-day event to bring the community together in celebration while also raising funds to support projects from multiple local organizations. Purchase your tickets to attend the Preview Night on Thursday, December 5 here!
Grant Applications were accepted from April 15 - May 13, 2024 from organizations and groups throughout Baker County to share in the proceeds from Festival of Trees through a grant process.
